Every now and then I'll post little teasers of what WDF v4 (Web Design Forums.net design iteration four) looks like.

This first one: the newly designed header, complete with a picture from a digital camera of my Pocket PC. The new layout will be liquid-based, not static-based and will work at any resolution 800x600 or above.

    Looks good filb!

Is this in preperation fro vB3 i take it?

It'd be great if it was liquid - i seem to waste an awful lotta space on a monitor at 1280*1024 with the forums as they are.

    Keep up the good work

i like it, although i am on 800x600 so the static layout isn't a problem.

Add a little green to the faded blue color. Right now, it has a lavender tint to it. You want to give it more of a cyan tint so that it retains the same feel as the other blue. You may want to desaturate it a little, too.

Wnen you make the templates, you could, rather than making the site fixed widh OR scalable make it both (kinda). What you can do is make the site scalable, but increase the left and right margins of the body, which will give it the FEEL of a fixed-width site... only the sides will always be 50 pixels or 80 pixels or 100 pixels from the edges.

    Whaddya think?

It looks blue on my computer...in PS it's RGB value is 199/216/226.

What I plan to do is have each of the forum category headers have the same tab-like appearance of the navbar, only with the tabs on the top of each category. I have no idea what I'll do for the postbit yet.
