Wow, that's such an expensive host, why do you use it?

Actually, for 16 gig of transfer and 250 MB storage, that's not bad at all. Not only that, it's pretty stable, which is more than can be said for a lot of "budget" hosts that would offer a plan like that for 5-10 bucks.

I have absolutely no doubts whatsoever about the host. This is a heavy traffic site, and the only time we experienced some slow-down they moved us to a faster server.

I think it's more than worth it

Definately appreciated Daniel I think people dont' understand how little is needed to keep this forum running.

Say we have 100 members willing to donate... that's only $1.63 each, and that's only like 1.7% of the forum members! (registered)

I also host sites of HostMatters and have done so for several years. They are one extremely reliable outfit - support and value for money are second to none !!.

Not to mention those of us who have donated more than $1.63. Although that stupid 3% and PayPal fees factor in, so it's probably close to around $170-$180 by the time it's all said and done.

I've reevaluated the hosting situation and cleaned up a lot of database dumps and bandwidth-consuming stuff (MSN's search bot doesn't know when to stop!). I feel that WDF is still suited for the B1000 plan, which is $112.20. We are still below that limit, but not by much. Even a few more users who donate the standard $10 will put us over the top.

I appreciate the donations received so far.

What happens if it's not? I'm not trying to be paranoid or anything. I'm just wondering what happens if your bill goes beyond that.
