    Question Need help!!!

Ok - so let me first start off by saying, I am just recently getting into web design. I am much more experienced with graphic design for print. So if I ask a question that sounds completely stupid, bare with me - I'm trying lol. So I have been tinkering and my boss asked me to try and figure this little situation out (she is aware that this isn't my forte).

I am trying to add an area to our website where customers can design their own tee shirts online and then place the order for them. I'm at a loss. I don't even know what that would be called to start trying to figure out how to accomplish this. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Could you give a little more info? Are you just looking for a way to input the text they want, or select from a series of images on a particular color shirt? Or do you want to build it to be able actually show those things?

Zazzle | Custom T-Shirts, Personalized Gifts, Posters, Art, and more might be your easiest approach.

Custom T-shirt making isn't "design" for the most part, although it has a "design" output. It's development and quite a bit of it.

Ideally, I would like them to be able to pick their color of shirt, be able to pick from a few pieces of art that we have given them to choose from and reposition the items. Essentially I am looking to set up something similar to what customink.com has done. thanks for your help!!

Again, you're talking about development. There isn't anything off the shelf that will do this, nor will there ever be since it involves several bits of customization. This is the "it sounds really easy and certain websites make it look really easy but it's very difficult" aspect of development. A long time and a lot of work.

This just isn't a one-person job, especially if you're new to web design. Jobs like this take entire teams to do.

I am fairly new to web design myself. I agree with TheGAME. Far to much development work for one person to do even if an experienced designer. Good Luck!
