    doing it yourself in most cases is the best way, but at times, its better to have someone else manage things for you.

    For a Free MySQL Database Manager, you could use EMS MySQL Manager Lite which is free and can be obtained from SoftPedia

    Well, where are you hosting your website?
    If you are hosting with a webhost, they probably have MySQL ready for you.
    If you are hosting your website in your PC, then it makes sense that you install MySQL there.
