I'm pretty new to Oracle, and I need help creating a database from a C# application using OLEDB and an Oracle DDL schema.

I have an application that uses a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database, which is created through a DDL script executed on the "master" database, essentially something like this:
    Code:
    USE master
    GO
    CREATE DATABASE erroneous
    GO
    USE erroneous
    GO
CREATE TABLE dbo.whatever (id INT NOT NULL)
    GO
    ...
So how would I do something similar in Oracle? I've already got all of my tables, views, and procedures converted to Oracle syntax, but this part is stumping me.

Here's what I have so far:
    Code:
    CREATE TABLESPACE test01
    	DATAFILE '/test01_001.dbf'
    	SIZE 15M REUSE
    EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL
But I'm getting the following error when I execute:
Error: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01119: error in creating database file '/test01_001.dbf'
ORA-27040: skgfrcre: create error, unable to create file
    Linux Error: 13: Permission denied
    Anyone know what this means?

    Nevermind,
It's because I didn't have write access on the root folder. I fixed the problem by putting the tablespace in my oracle folder.
