    Hello...

    So I have MySQL Admin installed (if that's the little traffic light icon in my system tray?) But every time I start up my PC it shows two icons... any idea why? Also, can you change settings so it doesn't show up on startup?

    I know this isn't code-related so I'm sorry, but I just figured somebody might know

    Thanks in advance

    Well, you can control what starts up and what does not.

    Start -> Run -> msconfig.
    Then click the startup tab.
    Uncheck the appropiate file (if you ever need to uncheck multiple items, do it one by one so if an error occurs you know how to fix it).

    Alternatively, download CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) a handy little tool for cleaning up your drive, also can edit your startup items.

    Not sure why two icons displayed. Check in Task Manager, are there two instances of MySQL Admin running?

    Yay! Thank you

    I don't know if there are two instances but there were two MySQL Admin's on the 'msconfig' window so I unchecked them both, thank you ^-^

    Note: That will turn both off, so you'll have to start mysql manually when you need it.
