So I set up phpBB last night and everything was working fine. Then today I go to log in and do some more customizing and I get a MySQL error. What gives? Is phpBB just no good or is this a SQL problem?

I used the installer that my hosting company provided to simply things.

phpBB & mysql are both good. However, i recently did a phpBB install using the cPanel installer provided by my web hosting company. It work... kinda, but with serious bugs. The primary reason for the problem (i think) was the install was for an add-on domain. Anyway, I posted for help on the phpBB forums and it was recommended that I install it manually/normally. It was VERY easy... and now everything works perfectly. I suggest giving that a try.

Use the quick-install located here (sorry, i can't link... too few posts..)
