I googled around and couldn't find a fix, so go easy on me.

When I put my site in the www folder, and open localhost, the css ad the JS isn't applied (i know because i just get plain text, and a 403 when i try to open a css file through 'view source'). It's even more confusing because I have another site in localhost, and it works fine. I compared all the css and JS paths, and they were similar for both sites. Absolute paths didn't help either (ie.: C:\wamp\www\johnnie\index.php).
Here's the site online if you want to take a look - http://geotest.hostei.com/johnnie/

    Thanks!

It seems to work fine for me... I can see the js slider and it works. Could you screenshot the issues as well as the route of your www folder too. (pressing and holding ALT before you press printscreen will screendump only the window you have clicked on)

    ah gotcha,

try adding an absolute variable to your css<a href> locations in your index.php head do the same for the js too.

absolute is ../css/style.css at the moment you just have it going css/style.css

Tried that, didn't work. Might as well change it though, it's better that way.
On the other hand, now even the online version doesn't work... I'll keep it that way so you can check it out.

Its most probably coz you have typo'd the forward slash, you put a backslash (/)
