    Greetings fellow designers,

I've got a client that i have built a website for using standard html/css and they have come back with a request for a backend system that shows an inventory listing (automobiles) that they can edit and update themselves. Having little knowledge of programming or database systems, i am asking advice on the best way to go about this... Any help is gladly welcomed. Thanks

Well the solution I'd recommend is the LAMP stack, with a focus on the MP. Use MySQL and PHP, simple database structure for inventory listings really, you could do it in a single table if you wanted.

Of course for the backend system you could go ahead and use a ready-made CMS. For something like this you could use Joomla, Drupal, even an E-Commerce CMS solution. Could even use Wordpress if you wanted to!
