I need to have a user list something from a database that shows up 10 at a time and they can select to see the next 10 and so on. What is the best way to accomplish this?

Would also like to have a drop down form for if they want more per page.

What you are looking for is a pagination script. Depending on your scripting language ( php or asp ), you could implement that into your results page.

I've done numerous in asp over the years, I set the default to 20, but have links for the user to change that ( by changing a session variable )

You should be able to find one for either language at hotscripts.com

I set it up according to this. The biggest problem I have is when there are over 100 or so fields, you end up having several pages. How do I have something that looks like...

    [First Page] < Prev 1 2 3 18 25 26 27 Next > [Last Page]

Great that you let us know. It helps all of us to know that the code is correct. Thanks.
