    Hello There,

    HAve a look at the following error...

    Error retrieving user details from the USERS table for the following reason
    1016: Can't open file: 'users.MYI'. (errno: 145)

    it keeps occuring very frequently these days. Last time i used the repair statement some of the recores got lost...could u please let me know why does this error occur and a proper solution to it?

    I did a little search on google, and there seems to be no solution!

    Apperantly there are some issues involving the combination CP/Apache/MySQL v4.0.

    The only fix that seems to temporarily alleviate the problem, is the RAPAIR tablename procedure.

    y some of the data disappear?

    Well my last resort is always the repair statement. but then how do i deal with the records that are lost while doing so....n my another question is why does the database get crashed every now n then?
