So, I go on to www.drupal.org, and I click on the download link. I hit save onto computer, and it just opens up on WinRar. From there, I don't see anything that deals with installation. All I see is a 'install.php' file, which I have no clue how to open..

    Anyone else have this problem?
    Please help!

While I have no direct experience with Drupal, the file aptly named install.php sounds like it needs to be run to... install Drupal.

Are you installing this on a local server or on a web host/server?

If you are installing Drupal on a web host you will need to upload/ftp the install.php (I am guessing there will be other files needed for the install) and then point your browser to http://path/to/the/install.php

Check out http://drupal.org/getting-started/6/install it lists the steps involved.

Uncle Google told me, "Read the manual!" Just joking. I have used Drupal for many years, but have yet to to do a custom theme or develop a module. I'm going to start with Drupal Zen and build from there. I did get paid 10.00 an hour, so I milked it, and did this site: http://rainiersupply.com
