    Hi!

    Let me introduce myself. My name is Christopher Kummelstedt and this is my first post in this form. I am not a pro developer in any sense of the word but web design is starting to become a hobby of mine.

    I recently (2 days ago) began to try to understand Drupal.

    Is the following possible?

    I want to create a content type that is similar to the page option, but I want to do the following different.

    1) I want there to be subsections to the page separated by a line.
    2) I want each subsection to have a picture on the top right of the subsection.
    3) I want each subsection to have a link in the menu, so that if you click the link, the site scrolls down to the appropriate subsection.

    Each subsection has the following fields:
    title creating a h1
    body text
    and a upload for the picture

    example:

    About Us:
    -----------------------------------
    Contact Us {picture}
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    -----------------------------------
    Ethos {picture}
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    -----------------------------------
    Meet the Staff {picture}
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum lorem ipsum
    ------------------------------------

    I appreciate that this is a quite complicated question but a Y/N answer would be much appreciated, and a nod in the right direction, or a partial suggetion, or a nod in a different direction other than CCK, would be very very appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Chris

    ps. Drupal Rocks. ds.

    You can do that without CCK. I think you should be able to install the Image module, or ImageAttach. Then just modify your node template to display the attached image appropriately.

    I would use CCK and views, u can create pretty much anything when u know how to theme views. If you havent downloaded views2 i suggest you do it asap, most userfull module i have found to date.
