    Hi all,

I think I'm asking something silly since all documentation on this subject that I can find stops right were I start

But what does one do after installation of the JQuery_UI module? I copied the files from the JQuery_UI site in the jquery.ui dir in the module dir. But then? How do I get, for example, the date picker in a node? Or something else?

I tried so many (wrong) things. I am totally stuck. :cross-eyed:

To get the datepicker in a node, you have to install CCK (Content Construction Kit) and the Date Field type. Then you have to create a new node type that has a Date field, and select Datepicker as the input type for that field..

Thank you for this information. I never would have thought I needed CCK for this.

CCK is required for adding custom fields to new node types - it's the only way to get a DatePicker field into Drupal without writing some custom code.
