Something that i thought would be really cool to have on this forum is for a Tutorial to be requested. For example, say someone wanted to know how to do something in Photoshop, say Abstract Brushing, and it came up loads of times, and people were sick and tired of seeing it. If they were able to click some link that made a thread/requested to people who have already posted Tutorials/etc or any other way of getting the word out that this would be a good tutorial to make, then we could get more Tutorials made (considering the question has already been answered). It should also stop people from asking questions over and over again. I know there is much more that can be done, but it's something that could be considered, and it would help out the forums.

Not a bad idea. Here's a twist on it that I'm implementing on another forum I help admin: Starting threads that people post tips in. Kind of a tutorial BY the people, FOR the people.

Also, anyone interested in compiling some tips from previous posts in the forum is more than welcome. I'll notify the rest of the staff about this thread, sounds like a definite discussion topic for us.

Agreed. It's a good idea and there are a couple of Wired's suggestions about as it is .

Continue pouring support and I'll think of an implementation.

How about someone just making a "Post your favorite HTML/CSS tricks" in the HTML/CSS forum and something similar for PHP? For example you could post pieces of code that you use frequently (eg. PHP file upload code).
