The most users ever online on WDF was 409, it happened yesterday. Not too shabby.

This is a very active website, and once the "new feature" is added, I guarentee the site will be even more active and probably even more community based.

I think that there should be more incentive for "guests" to contribute to WDF in one way or another, specifically by becoming normal/plus members. 140 guests were online a few minutes ago, which would be a potentially larger user-base if some steps were taken.

I suggest someone/people from the moderation/administration team looks into doing some research as to why people aren't signing up as much as we would all like, and what ways could be worked with in order to interest people to join and contrinbute to WDF.

Remember that many guests are search engine spiders, and I've been trying to make them register and post for years.

Filburt: You really shouldn't try to make the search engine spiders register and post, it will simply not work! :P

Sure it will. Search engine spiders are people too.

Plus, they've seen more sites on the web than any of us have. They know what an ugly site is when they see it! :-p
