I have been having problems with the forum being slow, when i click any of the links it takes over 5 mins for it to load. This has been happening for over a week, maybe 2. I don't think this is a problem with my connection as i have 600k cable and when i am browsing other sites it goes fast. Is there anything i can change in ie etc. to make it go faster or is everyone having this problem?

Copy and paste the results of running this in a command console:
    Code:
    tracert webdesignforums.net enter
WDF has its days but never does it take minutes to load a page for me. ATM it's doing about a page a second.

It says where the problem lays: my host's fault or your ISP's.

I'll relay the information to my host. Try a different browser or reboot in the meantime

I downloaded netscape *shudder* navigator (ARGHHHHHHH) and it seems to be working fine. So i will just have to sort out my internet explorer because i am not using this joke browser (no offense netscape users)

They also seem to think that everything's fine their side except for a slightly higher server load than usual:
His traceroute looks OK, so it doesn't appear to be a connection issue. The loads on Zephyros, where your site is located, are a bit higher than normal right now but that hasn't been going on for long. It's possible he's been noticing that today, though, so it should clear up once some of the processes running right now settle down. Otherwise he may need to look into settings on his system.

I think this is probably the problem because it has been running slow for ages now, so what settings would these be?
