I want to know, are there any rules governing posting here at WDF. Im talking specifically about posts like this:

    "Me too!"

    "I agree"

    "The site is good" etc

Now I know that I sometimes do this, but if you take all my posts into consideration, Its probably 1 in 100 posts that I might do this.

Im asking if a person does this on every thread they post on....

P.S. Im waiting for all the jokers in WDF to post their two word comments here!!! :classic: :lick:  :knockedout:

i just read over the rules and I dont see anything about posting short messeges or anything that would make what you described illeagal.
and by the way it says that i cant have a animated avatar so do i need to change mine?(you might have to change yours to jbagley if this is true)

The two applicable rules on the matter are:
    #

Excessive posting simply for the sake of posting or to increase your "post count" is intolerable.
    #

Do not unnecessarily "bump" a thread (reply to a thread simply to push it to the top of a list of threads). Wait at least 12 hours before bumping a thread.
So, effectively, short useless posts are not allowed and may be deleted, and if the user keeps it up, further consequences may occur.

    Short Change

That's a hard one, sometimes it's better to keep things simple and concise. I'd rather get a "no, you can't" instead of a long-winded, opinion biased answer....That's my 2 cents.

Well it's often "No you can't because...". There are exceptions, but the intent of the rule is pretty clear to me at least.
