This is skrlin. For some reason I am unable to log in to wdf via IE. I'm not blocking cookies of any kind. Any ideas ?

EDIT / UPDATE: Weird. I logged in, but when the page redirects back to the home page it still shows the log in form and I don't see that I am logged in at all. No WDF Plus forum or anything. After I posted this, it showed that I posted it as skrlin and when I went back to the home page I was logged in...

What is the exact URL (from the address bar) from which you're logging on?

Happens to me also. I'm actually on AOL (sucks sharing computers with other people), but I've noticed it works the same way as IE.

The URL I'm logging in from is http://webdesignforums.net/index.php?

After I log in from there it still shows the form, and after I post somewhere it shows me as logged in (same deal as with skrlin).

Make sure you have the "www" in front of the domain.

Try this: Log out, go to this link:
    http://www.webdesignforums.net/forumdisplay.php?f=14

(basically a link that doesn't have the SEO stuff) and then log in.

I think it might have to do with the base href, which forces the www subdomain. If www works and no www doesn't, then that's what it probably is.

filb, you could add a script that redirects to www subdomain if no subdomain is specified.

It could dynamically change the base href instead, provided that is the problem in the first place.

It should work now. I tested it with and without the www subdomain.
