While I still need to fix the entity escaping problem, I'll restrain my profanities at why the rest of it doesn't work (beyond my control).

Rest assured WDF v6 will be either XHTML 1.0 Strict or XHTML 1.1.

that is a big problem it always seems with making a site compliant, so that makes another question arise, how do you put get values into links, it seems that within an attibutes value, a link should be able to contain any charecter you so desire to put there, i suppose, using the escape charecters would work it just seems like when the DTD or maybe the validation software was written they did not put a heavy amount of thought into such things

looking over the ideas that have been placed into the forum, i am shocked that there will be such an early date for launch on the new site, it seems that it should be a very big overhaul.

That's an understatement, but my admittedly wild guess for a release date is that January 2008 timeframe.

that is pretty sweet, I am looking forward to seeing the new layout, How many people do you have working on such a project, cause it seems that it would be a 24/7 project with only a small team... wow this thread has gone off topic ...

Mostly just me, although the moderator team is involved, just as they are with each WDF build.

nice, seems like it would be a difficult task, I am relatively new in the field, but it is something to appreciate when you see a site like this put up with the amount of work put into it, do you do your own images also?
