    you may consider splittng some of your forums into slightly more refined forums eg

    • php
      • OOP
      • Procedural
    • XML/XHTML...
      • XML
      • XHTML
      • HTML 4.0
      • .....

    PHP
    • Post small code
    • Post things that don't fit
    • Post things that you are not sure of
    • Post things that are both


    I am not to experienced, however i would think that hybrid code would be likely harder to read.

    as for the other listings, they would be sub-forums, or even tags that you can apply to the existing forums.
