    Filburt,

In using the TD system, I'm finding some flaws in it.

Is there a way we can put a timeout on the TD offers?

Can we make auto-alerts to the people's mailbox every day a TD offer remains outstanding?

Can we make an alert to the mods when a TD offer "expires"? At that point, mods can do what they want with the offer (cancel it or award it to the most useful post).

Can we make a TD "reward" capability for people who want to reward helpful posts after the fact, even though there was no offer to begin with?

Just a few thoughts. Whaddya think?

Anything that's based on timed events is not feasable with vB2. vB3 has an internal cron system that would work.

I don't see it a major problem that offers are being left open anyway
