    What can the turtle dollars be used for here? Or is it just for fun, trading virtual money around?

    My mistake if I missed the answer for this.

    Yes I have already read that.

    So the turtle dollars are only used for offering for help, etc.? If so, then there wouldn't be much incentive to get as much turtle dollars as possible; that's why I'm asking.

    True, true. I guess that's the main reason people want to have as many TDs as possible.

    If you have an indepth question that requires a lot of research, offering TDs is a good way to get more people to attempt to answer your question.

    By collecting a bunch of them, when you get a question, you can offer a lot. If it ever became possible, I might do what Sun does and offer actual stuff you can buy with TDs.
