Just signed up today and I wanted to comment on a few things.

    1. The site is probably one of the best looking forums I've ever been to. I think it's very nicely done, and fast too even with all those graphics.

    2. With #1 in mind, what sort of traffic does wdf.net go through? Do you guys public release your stats (at least some of them)? And how many servers are running this?

    3. Why is there no Home button on the nav menu? (Yes I know I can click the log, as well as the root bread crumb.)

    4. Actually I don't have anything else to comment on.

    1. Thanks
    2. I usually never release statistics about WDF that aren't publicly available. It is running on a shared server with some optimizations to vB's code.
    3. Click the header image.
    4. Okay

Yeah #3 had some typos in it. It should have read "yes I know I can click the logo" meaning the header. Still... I find myself searching for the Home link.. oh well.

So this board is only being run by one server? And a shared one no less?

Jeez, I'm on another forum and they are slow as poop and they have two dedicated servers. That's why I asked about the traffic, I wanted to compare your usage to theirs and try to figure out why they suck so much. And I don't think it's the traffic level.

What can I say...I love WDF's host. http://www.hostmatters.com/ . Clues to the plan and such are scattered about for the curious WDF user.

Wow that looks great. I've actually got a site that needs hosting. I think this will do very well. !

Two dedicated servers wouldn't solve bandwidth issues. If they've got a web server and a database server on their DSL line at home, the bottleneck will be the bandwidth, and it won't matter what kinda servers they're runnin on.
