    I had an inkling today, and so I did some research on WDF's google ranks:

    [searchweb]multiple item delete[/searchweb]
    WDF is #1

    [searchweb]session cookie tutorial[/searchweb]
    WDF is #1

    [searchweb]transparent jpgs flash[/searchweb]
    WDF is #1

    [searchweb]dynamic stylesheet[/searchweb]
    WDF is #10

    I'm sure we could list things all day that WDF is #1 for. Just remember that if you title your topics appropriately, then people using Google will more likely find them!!!

    I don't know if the search result varies from country to country (shouldn't), but I get a different search result than Brian on the first search. The first on the list is the same though.

    On the second I don't get any result, but if I change the search to this on the first;
    [searchweb]multiple item delete admin[/searchweb]

    And this on the second (wich is the thread title);
    [searchweb]sessions and cookie tutorial[/searchweb]

    I get WDF first.

    It was #1 when I created this thread. You know how Google is always tweaking their search params. They probably did it again recently.

    I always like to go with thread titles like "Newbie Web Designer Here" or "Flash Question" or my favorite "School Project Due - NEED HELP ASAP!"

    p.s. Nice numbers, hurray for WDF!

    Making descriptive thread titles is not only good for Google, it's good for you. If you just say "Newbie here", no one knows what your thread is about. If you title your thread "Need help aligning tables", people dont have to go into your thread to see that they can or can not help you. Descriptive thread titles save time for us all. :-)

    What's wrong with "Need Help, Please"? That's a good thread title.
