Note that most of the United States is now within Daylight Savings Time (for those unfamiliar: clocks are set one hour ahead). This means that the contest time is now effective still for EST, but GMT-4.
Just a quick question.. As the UK is in Daylight Saving also, is this not 5 hours still?

    WDF is now GMT-4.

vB3 includes DST options per user.

No...the US has a DST shift every year at this time, and again near the Winter.

IMO it's a stupid tradition but what can you do.

LOL! I like the Daylight Saving time, it means my paper round can all of a sudden be done in complete light at night

    FYI

Britain is now in British Summer Time (BST) which is GMT+1 so the time difference between Britain and EST is still 5 hours.

The whole europe uses the DST. So the difference from Spain to Eastern coast of the US will always be 6 hours, no?

It's five hours in the UK. I'm not sure if every country switches over at the same time so there may be periods where the difference is 4 or 6 hours.
