    Okay, I've thought about these. Not sure what you'll think, filburt, but they are just ideas.

    In the request a service forum, when users who may not have read the info saying you can't reply to a thread they could be slightly perturbed by the permission error that they get when trying to reply. Any chance of a custom error page here?

    Also I find that the important posts are slightly hidden away in the yellow box at the top of the forum, not sure if there is a way you can highlight the important threads?

    Not possible without using vB's (IMHO, dare I say) horrendously worthless user promotion which is tied to user reputation (something that is disabled).

    I do agree that sticky threads should be made more prominent, but that was the intention for them being in the yellow box.
