Man I tell you, that is one reason why in the hell I do not live in florida, It is basicly the front gate for hurricains in the gulf. I think you get at least one or two a year. The texas cost on the other hand usually has a good area of high pressure comming from the contential US or a jet stream that will help divert most of them away. Hell I have lived in houston pretty much all my life and the last big hurricaine we had was Alicia back in 83 and that was only a catagory 3.
Looks quite bad, all the theme parks are closing too.... Shame for holiday-goers!!

FYI, it headed over the west part of Cuba, up north, was originally thought to be headed directly towards Tampa, now it's currently ON San Anabella island, heading NNE below Tampa, right towards Orlando.
