HOw would you go about making your site W3C XHTML compliant? If you design the site in Dreamweaver using the "make document XHTML compliant" shouldnt it comply? What is the criteria for it being XHTML compliant?

Ok, I validated a page of mine ifeti. Now the only errors I get are javascript errors when I validate the page using W3C.
Should I rather put the javascript in an external file? If so, how do specify that Im using an external javascript file in XHTML?

to check how to make you site XHTML compliant... see the diff between html and xhtml

to validate a site you put it through the validator

and to link to a external js file
Code:

Thanks for the tips.

For all those that dont know - because I didnt... you should wrap your javascript with this code in order to make it XHTML compliant:
Code:

I never knew this. If anyone else didnt know this please let me know so that I dont feel so dumb!

BTW, all my pages now validate.
