    Hey. Im creating a few apps in vb.net, dont worry not a coding question.

    I will submit these apps to planetsourcecode etc but am wondering what license to use. I want the apps to be available to download and pass on and such.

    See I tend to just code and stay away from the legal aspect.

    Or is it enough just to say the files are free to download?

    AFAIK stating that the files are bound by the rules of the GPL (General Public License) is as good as you need I think. Someone should be able to clarify this for you.
