Has anybody had very unstable AIM connections recently, possibly through Trillian? I keep getting disconnected and reconnected every few minutes.

It appears that I'm not the only one with this problem; another user suggests that it's a problem with Trillian, not AIM, which doesn't surprise me because I'm sure AOL hates Trillian.

Yeah you aren't the only one with that problem. Mine hasn't been doin that here recently. But a while ago it was doing the same thing. I couldn't keep a decent connection with aim. I am also not surprised that its Trillians problem not Aim. Do you use much of ICQ ? What do you think about AOL taking it over ? Do you run into many problems with ICQ if you do use it ?

    I don't use ICQ.

AOL has every right to protect AIM. I just wish they didn't because I hate their client, ads and all.

I can't stand much of trillain, and I get by with aim by turning alot of their new features off, there are quite a few good programs popping up to remove most of their ads and allow more Trillain like features.

I have goten kicked off aim a few times in the last few days but I do believe it was a connection issue on my side.
