Apparently the chicken I'm eating is "Powered by Tyson." I guess they gave up on their former "Proudly serving Tyson chicken." I didn't know chickens could be rebranded like Pricegrabber or Reseller Ratings.

Ahhh, yes, who can forget the Superchicken Song?

When you find yourself in danger
When you're threatened by a stranger
When it looks like you will take a lickin'
    (cluck cluck cluck cluck)
There is someone waiting who will
    Hurry up and rescue you
Just call out for Super Chicken! (Braaack!)

Fred, if you're afraid you'll have to overlook it.
Besides you knew the job was dangerous when you took it!

He will drink his super sauce
And throw the bad guys for a loss
And he will bring them in alive and kickin'
    (cluck cluck cluck cluck)
There is one thing you should learn
When there is noone else to turn to
Call out for Super Chicken! (cluck cluck cluck cluck)
Call out for Super Chicken! (Braaack!)

"So that was fine, and then there was a “stroke your beard meeting” back at Mr. Dog’s headquarters. (mimes stroking beard) “Well… we’ve sold but two cans of ‘Mr. Dog…’” which some people do say, “But two cans… Let’s change the name!” So they changed the name, from “Mr. Dog” to “Cesar.” Now that’s a bit of an image shift in my book of references. “Mr. Dog” – small dog, yes, you can see the sort of linky there. “Caesar” – Roman leader 2,000 years ago – small dog. Bit of a strangled route up to that one, isn’t it? Left at the traffic lights to get there… I think that’s a 3:00 in the morning decision, that one. (mimes dragging from joint) “It’s ‘Caesar,” we’ll call it ‘Caesar’! ‘Caesar’! What about…? Yeah, yeah, f***ing ‘Caesar’!"

    Ahhh, Eddie.

Tsk tsk... Those who have not seen the light that is Eddie Izzard...

Only the funniest stand-up comedian ever. http://www.eddieizzard.com/thingie_things/video2.izz has some hilarious clips. "Stoned Olympics" is eh, "Vader" is probably the funniest out-of-context (I've never seen Circle, but Dress to Kill is his best work I've seen... Absolutely, roll-on-the-floor-laughing hilarity. And I saw it about thirty times before I got tired of it; looking at these clips again, it looks like I might be able to watch it and laugh my butt off again).

Ok, that monologue now makes sense seeing that Izzard said it.
