    Mine are:
Munich, Crash, Syriana, Lord of War, Batman Begins

    What are yours?

I see one movie in theatres a week (sometimes more, I saw 3 christmas week), so I have seen most movies (well, most non crap horrer/teen-age comedy).

    4. Serenity.
    5. SW3.

I very rarely see movies because most of them suck.

I probably didn't even see 5 movies that came out in '05. Here are a few though:

    - Revenge of the Sith
    - Kingdom of Heaven
    - War of the Worlds

    Batman Begins
    Serenity
Unleashed (JUST saw it a couple of days ago, really good).

I've got all my movie stubs from the past couple of years, I'll have to see what else I saw this year and add to the list.

Got just under 70 DVDs, gotta love Netflix though, haven't bought a DVD in ages (just got Serenity) thanks to Neflix. Watch 'em and send them back.

Currently watching The Prisoner series (queued up on Netflix), gotta watch disc 5 / 11 tonight. This is a series they should remake, would be really good. I'm on the 5 DVD subscription, nice balance, 100+ in my list

Oh, XBox 360 makes a good DVD player, at least when compared to a PS2. Yes, I've got a real DVD player in another room, but when you're running a 2005FPW, well, there's not much reason to go somewhere else SOOOO wish I had the 24 inch though.

Oh yes, then I need to update my list.

    1. Serenity
    2. Serenity
    3. Serenity
    4. SW3
    5. War of the Worlds

The opening scene in Serenity where the ship enters the atmosphere during the opening credits is my new sound benchmark to replace the beach landing during Saving Private Ryan. It sounds awesome on my relatively new 6.1 home theater system from Onkyo that replaces my 5.1 Sony system. New one has S-Video and component (with HD, although I only have SD) support plus four digital inputs, three of which are optical (curses, I have two digital coax devices and one optical: computer and DVD player, and Xbox).

You feel the chair vibrate when the ship fires its engines. Freaking awesome. The display says Dolby Digital EX which is supposedly native 6.1 versus upconverted 5.1, but the DVD box says 5.1 as do all of mine. Strange. I have yet to find a DVD box that specifically says 6.1 or 7.1.

Fun fact: the .1 does not mean the subwoofer as a speaker. It rather means there's a channel that is meant to reproduce 0.1 (10% LFE--low frequency effects) of the sound frequency, which happens to be the low-end reproduced by the subwoofer.

Did anyone like Sin City? I liked the comic book, but I couldn't really handle the movie. I have a weak stomach.
