I have built a database for a client, and every 3 weeks she seems to ring saying access has said 'record is deleted' and when i look at it, the record has lots of hashes (#) in it. I know how to fix it, but why is it doing it?

My first guess would be database corruption. I've heard about record deleted errors due to corruption. If you haven't already, try importing all the data to a new container (.mdb file). If that doesn't work, I'm sorry that I couldn't be more help.
