    Offered where? Via PM? On the boards? A bit more detail would help.

    If you mean by PM on the "Request a Service Forum" (which, based on your posts, I think is what you are talking about), most of those folks probably just reply to the person that they choose to help them. I can't answer for everyone, but that would be my assumption...

    I wouldn't get offended until you get an offensive reply to your offers.

    In the case of service requests, it's up to the thread starter to say when the job is done as well. They might ignore replies if they already had their request completed, especially as many people send people PMs to posters in Service Requests.

    WDF v6 will more formally enforce a "this request is completed" flag or something. WDF v6 == many exciting things. You'd crap your pants if you saw the database schema.

    Well probably not, but it's still pretty fun.
