So on one of my Desktops I just done a clean install of Xp pro.

Now, when I have booted up, I am no longer connected (before it connected auto).

When I first setup my router, I used that PC to config the router, now when I try and go to the routers config, I am told I am offline, or I get a 404 (as I am not connected).

How do I recreate the link between these 2?

IE -> File -> uncheck Work Offline

Is your network connection set to get IP / DNS automatically?

You see, there is no network connection, I mean, my router is working fine, but the PC does not even detect it, or join, and there is no network connection in the network connections folder.

Not sure how to do that part.
