I keep seeing other users who have multipliers when they give me feedback, but I don't have that. At first I thought it was tied to how many posts you'd made or how many points you had, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Aeox has only made 3 posts and has barely any points, but has a multiplier of 7. No fair!

Thanks for the link, but I didn't see anything that answered my question.

It's magic based on how long you've been a member, your total posts, etc. It's not calculated from just one attribute.

Amongst other things, I'd guess it also probably includes how much reputation you've shared with others and how much others have shared with you. But listen to filburt, since he coded it :-D

(For example, filburt has a multiplier that's like 1600000 times higher than mine :-P)

My multiplier is 50 given my obscene number of posts and I've been registered for almost five years.

The reputation system is vBulletin's own, modified a bit by me. The multiplier is still determined by vBulletin, customized with my settings.

I do find that chicks dig it when I say "I have a reputation multiplier of 50 at WDF." Or they don't get it and walk away like they can't hear me. I forget which.
