    Just over a year and a half after the US military blocked YouTube, they now launch their own version of the popular online video sharing site. They call their version TroopTube (very original!!!)

    It's menat for US military personal and their freinds and families to view, upload etc videos related to the military so they can coumunicate better while the person is away on duty.

    Interesting idea - what do you guys think of it?

    Seems to me like a way for the army to filter content and up public opinion. I don't really like the censorship but that being said it looks good and its a sound idea.

    I'm not big on censorship either, but if it's censoring ilegal stuff, then fair enoguh.


    I think it's a good idea, although I still think they could have come up with a better name. Good idea, but not very orignial. I bet the guy that came up the idea thinks he's so cool.

    But I think the army's doing it for the right reasons, and I hope it's a big sucess.
