I would like to make some youtube videos. Some I would like to be full videos and others take still pictures and make them into a video. What is a good program for that? Thanks,

If not, Sony Vegas is the next choice

Windows Movie Maker is perfect for beginners and in a long run, you may explore sony vegas for better features.

Camtasia is great software. So many different add-ons you can do to your recorded video. Ofcourse you can compose it into a timeline and add quotes and voice media over the top of it too.
    Highly recommended software.

It depends. For most people Windows Movie Maker and the default Apple one are what most people seek, and I hear that Apple one is especially nice.

But if you are wanting more commercial-standard stuff, then it's hard to go past Adobe Premiere.

If you Google it, there are tons of freeware video editors out there that are better than Windows Movie Maker for sure, espeically with more file format support and multi-layer video and sound.
