    HostDime? Those guys are still around? You gotta be kidding me. It seems like only yesterday that they were sharing private customer email exchanges and ranting incoherently. I can't help but feel partly responsible for their anger, though.

    ThePlanet? Spammer haven.

    GoDaddy? Okay, not bad. They have some stupid SMTP cap rules on dedicated servers (something like no more than 1,000 emails per day), but at least the servers themselves are pretty stable.

    The other two? I'm with Wired. I have no idea who they are.

    The best? I've already plugged them twice today on the board. And since I don't have an affiliate account with them, I don't want to appear like a shill. Seriously, the company in question is the best of the best of the best.

    you should make sure that you choose a hosting provider that does not disable the cpanel backups , because migrating your websites away will be a pain in the rear end.
