    Hi All,

Currently developing a dating website with a difference, but having some troubles getting the design right, have done 3 with a bit of help from a graphic designer, and would like to have feed back on them. They are only JPEG images at this stage:

Take the footer from #2 and put it on #1.

Purely aesthetically, I'd go with 2. I like the left side menu and the footer better.

Mind you, after having been on dating sites many years ago, having known people who have used them, and having seen none of them work for anyone (other than to get a little hop-hop smackysmacky...they're great for that), I'd suggest that you either come up with a really good formula that actually is proven to work (keeping in mind that eHarmony's doesn't, and they're from what I can gather the benchmark that way) or jump ship on the idea.

Yep, I would have to go with #2 as well. I would have to agree with GAME, getting into the dating site business its gonna be just as easy as getting into the social networking site business.
    Peace, Mike

Have been reviewing the design with others and the biggest thing to come out was that guys don't like to have pink on the dating site and also the symbol needed changing. I have engaged the services of a designer to come up with a new symbol he has provided a couple and I have placed them on the following location:
    http://www.iqcatch.com/images/IQ-Catch-Symbols.jpg

Would be great if others could comment which symbol they like the best? I will than pick a symbol and the colour scheme will match it in the site. Or other symbol suggestions that you might have?

    Thanks

    Either #4 or #11. #1, 3, 5, 6, and #8 aren't readable. I haven't got a clue what's going on inside of the Q in #9. The I looks weird in #7. #2 and #10 don't really do it for me.

None of the above. Pink and fluffy is so "standard" in the dating game. Go with something more "brainy" for your design. It'll suit your concept better.

Are you talking about the mockups he posted originally or the logos he just posted, Steven?
