Hello. Me and somebody else are going to code our Operating System.
We're trying to think of a name. Any suggestions?

I think you may be a bit too ambitious for your own good.

Damn that would have been very appropriate. Why are you coding an OS? Do you think there is a lack of OS's?

Advert on whiteboard springs to mind..."Kids....Sick and tired of your parents bossing you around...want to do your own thing? Simple solution. Leave home while you still know everything"

Guys, please. I am doing this with somebody who knows far more coding than I do.
Besides, we're coding our OS mostly in PHP.
Yes, I'm not kidding. If it doesn't make sense to you that's not my problem :P

I obviously can't get a serious answer outta you... makes me question why I'm here, if everybody's just going to be a jerk about me asking a serious question...:banghead:

Can't code an OS out of PHP. Is it a web based desktop perhaps?

Sorry I can't reveal a whole lot of info lest the concept be stolen. But I'll say that the OS installed on the computer will barely be anything, and that everything will be an online interface accessed via a web browser.

Wouldn't that have to be a browser that launches when you start up your compy, basically?
