    Hey guys,

I recently got a new domain name from 123-reg.co.uk. My computer at home shows the domain name now on my server and all the files I have uploaded, but my laptop is still showing the default 123reg landing page.

I have tried everythign to clear cache and stuff but still keeps loading up this page instead of the files on my server?

    Anyone got an idea?

    the url is www.noobcommunity.com

    Cheers
    Greg

    **** EDIT *****

Found this fix if anyone else has this problem! *My boss is a computer genius*

Type in CMD on the run search on your computer and right click run as administrator. Once the black box appears type ipcongif /flushdns and it worked perfectly!

A mod can lock this now if needed !
    Cheers

Not a computer genius, just every day network stuff.

A reboot would have accomplished the same effect, and depending on your companies group policy, the DNS cache on your local computer can be forced to clear every so often.

IF you make a DNS change and 30 minutes later you're not seeing the change... A dnsflush is in order before starting any troubleshooting.

Check your spelling when posting command line stuff - it's ipconfig .

No, it's just that I'm so old I remember things like spelling and grammar being taught in school! LOL
