    Hey everyone!

    I wanted to introduce myself here on WDF. I work for Go Daddy and am simply here to help anyone with Go Daddy related issues, or anything that I might know the answer to. Pleasure to meet you all!

    So, you aren't here to contribute to discussion on web design matters? That's kinda what this forum is about.

    Actually, I think he can add something in his particular case. If someone's got a GoDaddy question or issue, and they do come up, maybe he can solve it without that someone having to go through 8 levels of support and getting frustrated. At the very least, maybe he can provide us some insight.

    Let's face it, there are people out there who have issues with GD and he may just be here as a goodwill ambassador and to try and make things right.

    Just a warning. Dont provide any login details to Gabe until he's provided proof of employment at GoDaddy to the site owners. I'm sure they will have a standard procedure for this, otherwise anyone could say they work for them and ask for login details to fix an issue, only to transfer your domains to their account.

    Hey Ronald,

    If I can contribute to any topics of web design, I certainly will I have worked at Go Daddy for almost 5 years, but have designed several of my own websites and a few for non-profit throughout the years, so I know enough to be dangerous!

    You hit it right on the nose! I just want to help anyone I can. It's true, any host can have slightly different configurations, or interfaces, or types of hosting. As a web developer, these can be challenges, and just as in the other thread, I want to make sure those who choose Go Daddy (or those whose customers choose Go Daddy) have someone to ask questions in this forum.

    Of course you can always contact support directly, they are usually very helpful, but sometimes people forget to do so, and like you said, someone like myself might be able to get right to the problem without going through 8 different support channels.

    I'm sure if he actually does work for godaddy, he WON'T be asking anyone for their account info...

    They have all kinds of ways to access support... And I'm sure if the need arises, he will direct them to one of the appropriate support venues.
