Is there a title for me?

Hello all. I am a newbie here. I am trying to figure out where i might fit in the web design world. I owned a web design business with a partner for 10 years. He was the graphics guy and I was the back end and content guy. He has since passed away from cancer and I have closed the business.

Now I am thinking of getting back into web work. I mainly used dreamweaver and a prebuilt ecommerce software build in cold fusion. The issue is, I know a lot about this and that but I am not fluent in php, javascript, ajax etc. I also don't have what it takes to design graphics. I can use photoshop to correct, size and manipulate images to be used on sites. I cannot create from scratch. I just don't have that talent.

I am trying to figure out if there would be a spot for me working at a design firm or something like that. Does anyone know if such a position exists and if so what it is usually called? I am now living in the bay area and I know there are a lot of companies here but I don't know how to approach this. Any input and or info is appreciated. Thanks all!

I don't think you'll find that your backend work, which sounds less like scripting and more like installing a script and configuring it, will be in much demand. Doubly so on a platform that isn't in high demand.

As for the content, you may be able to find work doing copy writing or content strategy.

Income-wise, I'd suggest maybe getting familiar with some other backend languages and going that way.
