Traveling tales - your best conversation with a stranger? :)

    Hey guys!

As the title of the thread suggests, what's the best conversation you have ever had, while you were traveling?

The other day, as I was traveling across Gothenburg, I happened to find myself in a bar, all by myself. As I was sitting there, I was approached by a man, who is perhaps in his late twenties. We began talking and it turned out to be one of the most intriguing conversations ever.

He manages a company with his father and has many exciting hobbies! He moved on to tell me the story of how he moved into the family business and happened to build a vast empire.

This isn't something new, but the way he told me, I was absolutely rapt. I could have listened to him for hours together! His tale, his struggles, early heartbreaks, oh it was so inspiring to hear.

But alas, it was the last call and we both had to go our separate ways.

That evening, I went back to my room, feeling content and even inspired by the conversation I have had earlier that evening.

Oh, I can still recall every word of it. It was certainly one of the best talks I have had, while on a journey.

So, how about you guys? Have you guys have ever had such an experience where in you come across someone interesting in your trip? Isn't it amazing, the very nature of life? Do tell about your experiences!

Thank you and have a good day.

Personally this looks like a creative way of posting a link.

The link serves no purpose and you didnt even contribute to your own thread in any meaningful way. You told us nothing important or interesting. What was so interesting about the guy? Why is it even relevant to your thread?

If i was to contribute "i met an interesting guy once" it contributes nothing and this is pretty much exactly what you did while dropping a link.

I'm going to allow the story and remove the link. If it wasn't a link drop, it won't matter. If it was, then we'll find that out too now, won't we?
If I've helped you out in any way, please pay it forward. My wife and I are walking for Autism Speaks. Please donate, and thanks.

If someone helped you out, be sure to "Like" their post and/or help them in kind. The "Like" link is on the bottom right of each post, beside the "Share" link.
