    http/2?

I had never heard of http/2 until minutes ago. The article I read didn't explain much at all. I really don't even know what it is. Should I try learning more? Is this something that will effect your work at some time in the future?

I haven't heard of it either, but from what I've read it looks like a giant mountain of technically obtuse gibberish. I love how people who come up with these ideas explain them in the most vague manner possible and then seem confused as to why they don't get adopted right away.

If someone explains it and its benefits in English, I might use it. Apparently it won't be available until Windows Server 2016, though, so it's going to be a ways off.

Thanks Adam. I have finally begun attempting to learn coding. If you recall, when I first joined I had entered community college in a Webmasters program but quickly learned all they were teaching was Dreamweaver and Front Page. Soon after my mother became seriously ill so I had to go back home. Never did learn anything actually useful at school. My instructor didn't even know HTML.

I wouldn't expect you to learn anything useful there either.

This isn't code-related from what I can see of it. It's all done on the server end.

I was reading a book about page optimization and it briefly touched on http2. From what I remember it will include enhancements on the way requests are made to and from the server. Im not good at explaining things but it will allow the server to know what resources to serve without the browser making individual requests for every resource (or something like that) amongst other things.

Just came across this link to a blog on http2 on smashing magazine, as mentioned, simple and mind boggling lol
