    Re-purposing

My husband, the great guy he is, made me a new cutting board for my kitchen for an Easter present. He used some of the old heart pine that was part of the barn he restored for my office. I think it's beautiful and really didn't won't to cut that apple on it. I wanted to hang it on the wall.

And then! Our daughters are out of school for Spring break this week so we're carrying them to the beach for a few days. (course, I love the beach too). So, I go out to our rv and start getting it ready for our trip and found this cutting board made from the same woods from our restored barn. I told him I'm not suppose to cook when we go to the beach!...he ignored me and told me to enjoy my new cutting boards and I certainly will do so.

You should try it and make something unique and pretty for your office, or your girl, with it's own personality.

I'll try to remember to put up a photo of my desk my hubby built for me from wood from our barn. It's a reproduction farm table and is beautiful.

Ah! I should be on the beach this time tomorrow and eating fresh seafood at night. I refuse to cook!
We also have plans to visit a new data center being built on our way down to Florida.

Have a great and blessed week guys.

If I ever get the time and resources I just might. Gotta find/know if something is worth refurbishing or not. I have a goal to build myself a standing/sitting desk by the end of the year. Maybe I can find some wood worth making the top out of
