    Cool Chrome Trick

I'm not sure if this is built into other browsers because I usually don't fill out forms in other browsers for reasons other than testing. But here's the situation: I was filling out a form online and trying to switch tabs to copy/paste info. I inadvertently closed the tab containing the form and it was about 60% filled out. Bad, right?

    Nope. Here's what you do:

    1) Don't panic and don't do anything else other than what's outlined below.
    2) Go into the Chrome menu, then go to History-->the tab that you recently closed and reopen it.

The form will reappear with the data that you entered...which is a wicked awesome way to help keep someone from doing something boneheaded.

    CTRL - Shift - T

Brings up the most recently closed tab

Also, if you press that right after you open Chrome, it will reopen the last session.

It also works in Safari, you just hit Cmd-Z (Ctrl-Z on Win)

I'd know this if I closed Chrome tabs more often. I'm known for having a lot open at once.

Oh, you're one of them.. I mean us! I probably have 10-15 open right now at home that have been open for a week.

I know theres bookmarks, but I forget to look at them! So when I see something I wanna read later I just open it in a new tab/window and put it on my 2nd monitor.

I don't have room on my desk for a second monitor, but I'm with you...I leave it in a new tab.
