Could any freelancers here offer some advice?

    Hey Everyone!

What is the one part of being a freelancer do you wish you had help with when you started out? I'm new to this and want to avoid the pitfalls.

    Pricing and contracts.

Pricing: provide a range of hours, and be firm about your hourly rate. If you aren't sure where you fall (jr., sr. etc.) post your work here and let us help you figure that out!

Contracts: be VERY clear in your contracts about what you're working on for them if you're charging a fixed fee.

    Good luck!
